Pixel DNA Unveils Four Of Nickelodeon's Brand New "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Teaser Idents
Nickelodeon's brand new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Station ID's are set in a dark city environment, with each one of Nickelodeon's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" idents featuring one of the four heroes in a half-shell wearing their famous coloured bandana's peering out from their hiding places at the television viewer.

A set of idents created as teasers to promote the brand new series of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' on Nickelodeon. The idents set in dark city environments, represents each of the turtle characters and only focuses on showing their eyes and coloured bandana's.In the first of Nickelodeon's brand new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Nickelodeon teaser channel idents, 'Raphael' (also known as 'Raph') peers out through a bit of freshly shredded wallpaper that features the Nickelodeon logo on it.
In Nickelodeon's second brand new "TMNT" channel ident, 'Michelangelo' (also known as 'Mike' or 'Mikey') stares through a red and green neon 'Pizza' shop sign, which then transforms into a neon Nickelodeon logo shop sign.
The third of Nickelodeon's brand new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" idents features 'Donatello' (also known as 'Don' or 'Donnie') peering up under a New York City manhole cover, who then disappears after a car travels on top of the manhole to be replaced by a Nickelodeon logo resting on top of the manhole cover.
The fourth brand new Nickelodeon "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" ident features 'Leonardo' (also known as 'Leo') staring through the carriage windows of a fast moving overground railway passenger train (railroad passenger train). As the end (last) carriage of the train appears onto the screen and travels by to exit the other side of the screen, a Nickelodeon logo appears, laying on top of the railway wall.
Pixel DNA's 'Nickelodeon TMNT ID's' video also features a special 'Pixel DNA' ident, which features a modified version of Nickelodeon's 'Raphael' "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" channel ID, except instead of a Nickelodeon logo, the wallpaper features a 'Pixel DNA' logo.
It is currently unknown whether Pixel DNA's brand new Nickelodeon "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" idents are for just for Nickelodeon UK and Ireland, or if Nickelodeon's brand new 'TMNT' idents will also be shown on Nickelodeon's worldwide channels (Nickelodeon Worldwide).
Nickelodeon has announced plans to premiere "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" on Nickelodeon USA on Saturday 29th September 2012 at 11am ET/PT and on Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK on Monday 1st October 2012 at 5.00pm. TURTLE POWER!

Nickelodeon USA's "Saturday's On Nickelodeon" On-Air Design Package
Nickelodeon USA's "Saturday's On Nickelodeon" broadcast design package was made creative agency "Buck Design":
Nickelodeon - Saturdays from Buck on Vimeo.
Remember getting up early to watch Thunderbirds? Maybe you were more of a Masters of the Universe person. Fraggle Rock, The Smurfs, Duck Tales, Care Bears, Jem and the Holograms, My Little Pony… the list goes on. These days there is a new roster, and we were pumped to infuse some of our fond memories of Saturday morning cartoons into these idents for Nick. Using stripes, circles, Nick’s logo and the characters from the shows, we made a fun series of idents which we hope the kids of today enjoy as they munch on their cereal.

In the Nickelodeon USA Halloween Ident "Nickelodeon Halloween Network ID - Ghost" (below), a Nickelodeon Orange vampire bat in the 'I' in the 'Nick logo' unwraps it's wings, flies towards the television screen, chomps at the television screen revealing it's sharp teeth, then flies back into the 'I' of the 'Nick logo':

The story-boarding was all done in Storyboard Pro and the animation was all done in Animate Pro 2. The 3D was done in Blender.
In the Nickelodeon USA Halloween Ident "Nickelodeon Halloween Network ID - Goo" (below), a Nickelodeon Orange slimy, gooey creature comes out from the 'I' in the 'Nick logo', walks towards the television screen, then walks backwards and disappears back into the 'I' of the 'Nick logo' again:Nickelodeon Halloween Network ID - Goo from Robert Kohr on Vimeo.

I had a tremendous opportunity this fall to develop 3 network ID’s for the Halloween holiday for Nick on-air. I work for Nickelodeon as an animator and multimedia designer in its preschool digital online group (what a mouth-full). That said when I was offered the chance to work on these I was more than happy to jump on it. I worked with the VP of Brand Creative to direct these three spots that aired in the 8 to 9 days before October 31st, 2010. The characters were designed on paper, the storyboards were created in Storyboard Pro and the animation was all done in Animate Pro. The 3D Nick logo was created in the open source 3D program, Blender. All in all I had a terrific time working on this and working with my co-workers and freelancers who are always so generous with advice and help, especially my boss Renato who gave me the time to work on these. It was also great to see it on air!

DescriptionThere isn't much information about these Nickelodeon Halloween bumpers, such as which country's Nickelodeon channels they are from, and what year they were broadcast and used on-air on those Nickelodeon channels (they were posted in December 2010). The first video could be a Nickelodeon USA Halloween bumper, as the Nickelodeon logo says "Nick" instead of "Nickelodeon" which is the Nickelodeon logo Nickelodeon USA uses, with the second video featuring Nickelodeon Internationals version of the same Nickelodeon Halloween bumper, except with the Nickelodeon logo saying "Nickelodeon", which is the Nickelodeon logo most international Nickelodeon channels use for their channels logo.

Nickelodeon UK - "Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend" Opening Titles, Stings And Promo
The "Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend" opening titles/intro and stings were made by Sheffield creative studio agency "PIXEL DNA".
"Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend" Opening Titles
Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend - Title Sequence from Pixel DNA on Vimeo.
Pixel DNA has created the brand & title sequence for Nickelodeon’s new weekend show ‘Jamie & Anna’s BIG Weekend'.
The title sequence is combination of live action footage of the shows presenters, combined with Motion Graphics, which result in a fast paced journey where we follow the presenters making their way across a construction site, dodging slime and other falling obstacles!
Pixel DNA were tasked with designing all of the shows design elements from the logo and the title sequence through to all of the shows graphical content and promotional materials.
"Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend" Opening Stings
Big Weekend Stings - Nickelodeon from Pixel DNA on Vimeo.
A range of different Motion Graphics Stings created as intro’s to games played on the show. Each game was given it’s own look and feel, and each sting was created to reflect the nature of the game it was representing. Logo designs were also designed for each game, and Hi-Resolution artwork was created for use on large scale prints to be displayed in [Nickelodeon UK's] studio.
You can also view Nickelodeon UK's "Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend" trailer which Nickelodeon UK and Ireland used to promote their "Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend" morning block here - NICKELODEON / Big Weekend Promo (2010). Nickelodeon UK's "Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend" trailer was created by East London design and animation studio "Versus".Also, from modern marketing and media news website The Drum:
Pixel DNA has designs on Nickelodeon's Big Weekend
Sheffield agency Pixel DNA has created the brand and title sequence for new Nickelodeon show 'Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend'.
The Sheffield agency was tasked with creating all of the show's design elements including graphical content and promotional materials.
Marc Tingle, Creative Director at Pixel DNA says: “Being a brand new show, it has been a fantastic opportunity for us to be involved from day one, and be responsible for creating all of the creative and visual elements for the show's look and feel.”
Also, from the official website of music composer David Arnold, who composed the "Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend" theme tune for Nickelodeon UK:
‘Jamie & Anna’s Big Weekend’ Theme for Nickelodeon
The theme tune for Nickelodeon’s new Saturday morning show Jamie & Anna’s Big Weekend was written, recorded, arranged and produced entirely in-house by David Arnold Music. The brief called for a “Big Show style and credentials”, and required that it should“…incorporate a big band, showbiz sound (“Live From London”) and be recorded with real instrumentation including live drums, guitars, saxes and brass”
This gave the team a great opportunity to flex their creative muscles – with stunning results, as you can hear. So slick is the final result that one industry insider commented that when he heard it he wondered if the job had gone to an American production company, saying “it sounds as if it was recorded in Hollywood”!

Nickelodeon had a week of programming that was based around web clips and the Internet, which they dubbed "The Webbiest Week Ever". We went for a clean, geometric, and high-tech look, but then animated in a fun and bouncy way to still make it feel kid oriented.

Nickelodeon recently had us create this image campaign that features both their talent from live-action shows and animated characters. In order to connect both worlds, we created an abstract environment using rear and frontal projections on a stage and shot the talent live, using CG sparingly.
The music used in the above video of Nickelodeon's 2011 image campaign was created by sound designers Sacred Noise.
The video below looks like it's Nickelodeon Internationals version of Nickelodeon's 2011 image campaign, as it has a 'Nickelodeon' logo at the end, instead of a 'Nick' logo, which Nickelodeon USA uses:
Below is a streaming video of one of Nickelodeon USA's trailers from 2011 called "Are You Ready", which is based on and features footage from Nickelodeon's 2011 Image Campaign, which was created and devised by New York-based creative studio "Trollbäck + Company".
The video below of Nickelodeon USA's "Are You Ready" promo from 2011 features Nickelodeon stars from Nickelodeon's current live action and animated programming, including the casts of the Nickelodeon shows Big Time Rush, iCarly (including Gibby (Noah Munck)), T.U.F.F. Puppy, Victorious, The Penguins of Madagascar, Planet Sheen, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, SpongeBob SquarePants, Fanboy and Chum Chum, Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Troop, Power Rangers Samurai, and True Jackson, VP.
The music and song used in the above video of Nickelodeon USA's "Are You Ready" trailer from 2011 is called "Fly High" by the band "The DNC".
